Meet the Intentional Childbirth Team!

Hi! I'm Jenny 💗

I’ve been happily married to my husband, Steve, for over 31 years. Together we’ve been blessed with eight incredible children and now FIVE precious grandchildren—so yes, I proudly wear the title of “Granny Doula!”

I often joke that I was born a doula. My passion for supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood has been growing for as long as I can remember. As a teenager, I was fascinated by everything related to babies and birth. At sixteen, I attended the birth of my baby brother, and from that moment on, I was hooked. When I graduated from high school, instead of asking for the usual gifts, I requested a baby stethoscope, fetoscope, and blood pressure cuff—tools that reflected the calling God was already placing on my heart.

My own motherhood journey has given me the privilege of experiencing many different types of births, including home births, birth center births, water births, and hospital births with epidurals. I’ve also breastfed all eight of my children. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the uniqueness of every birth and strengthened my desire to walk alongside other women as they write their own birth stories. If you’d like to know more about my journey, you’ll find several of my birth stories on the blog—including the story of my second baby, who almost made his debut in the car, and my seventh baby’s peaceful home water birth.

In 2018, I officially stepped into the birth world as a certified birth doula, turning a lifelong passion into a calling I now have the privilege of living out every day. Since then, I’ve had the honor of supporting nearly 100 births, including VBACs, twin births, and premature deliveries. Every family I serve continues to teach me something new and reminds me what a privilege it is to witness the God’s marvelous work in bringing new life into the world.

Because caring for families is truly my passion, I believe learning should never stop. I am continually pursuing additional education to better serve the families entrusted to me. Most recently, I’ve been working toward becoming a Certified Breastfeeding Educator, allowing me to provide even more support as mothers navigate those precious early days with their babies.

Whether you’re looking for virtual doula support, childbirth education, breastfeeding guidance, or compassionate, hands-on support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum, I would be honored to walk this journey with you. My goal is to help you feel informed, confident, and deeply cared for every step of the way. Along the way, I’ve been called a Birth Sherpa, a Village Mama, and yes, maybe I’ll even become your Birth Bestie.

Hi! I'm Reagan 💗

Congratulations, Mama! I’m so glad you’re here.

I was born and raised right here in Greenville, South Carolina! I met my husband, Charlie, when we were just kids in middle school through the church we both attended. Today, we’re enjoying our first year of marriage and live in the Travelers Rest area with our sweet dog, Paisley.

My life and my work are grounded in my faith in Jesus Christ. That same faith has shaped my heart for serving others from a young age. My passion for supporting women through pregnancy and birth began in middle school, when I first dreamed of becoming a nurse. Although my path eventually led me away from nursing, God used that desire to lead me to doula work—a calling that allows me to care for women and families during one of the most meaningful seasons of their lives.

As I grew and learned more about myself, I realized that while a career in traditional medicine wasn’t the path for me, a life of caring for others absolutely was. That realization led me to doula work—a calling that allows me to walk alongside women during one of the most vulnerable, powerful, and joyful seasons of their lives.

My understanding of birth is rooted in my Christian faith and my belief that God intentionally designed a woman’s body for childbirth. My approach combines faith, evidence-based practices, and compassionate, holistic support. I believe every woman, every baby, and every birth story is beautifully unique. There is no one “right” way to give birth, and your birth experience should reflect your values, beliefs, and the things that matter most to you.

Birth is more than a moment, it is a life-changing transition into a new chapter and the beginning of a new story for your family. I believe your experiences, hopes, and beliefs shape the way you view birth, and my role is to support, encourage, and empower you throughout your journey.

Whether you’re still exploring your options, have questions you want to talk through, or feel ready to begin preparing for your birth, I would be honored to walk alongside you. Wherever you are in your journey, I’m ready to join you and provide the care, encouragement, and support you deserve.

Hear from other new parents...

Jenny is an AMAZING doula!! She helped us through the birth of our 1st child.

We hired a Doula to help us through the birthing process for support and knowledge, as I suffer from anxiety and my husband is very much an introvert—has a hard time processing emotion.

Jenny was there for us every step of the way….helping me through times of feeling anxious and educating and encouraging my husband on the birthing process.

During delivery, Jenny’s calming presence helped me stay calm and collected during a time I would normally be overly anxious.

As well, with her encouragement, my husband was present and participating in the labor—when and where he could be.
Before having a Doula my husband did not want to be anywhere near the labor room, after having a Doula my husband stayed with me the whole time, offered words of encouragement, helped with calming/soothing techniques during contractions, “looked” as our baby girl was being born and cut the umbilical cord.
Having Jenny was such a blessing! A Doula is there to support both you (the pregnant one) and your husband. ~Laura
will she need a cesarean?
Jenny was an amazing doula! We met a few times prior to me going into labor and she truly listened and understood how I wanted my birth plan to go. She was in my corner every step of the way and was a great advocate for me during those tough contractions! She was able to coach me through mentally, physically and emotionally and was able to translate what was happening to my husband. I highly recommend Jenny!
