One of my core value, both in my work and in my life, is putting family first. As Intentional Childbirth has grown, I’ve been incredibly honored by the trust so many families have placed in me. With that growth has also come seasons where I am fully booked and unable to take on every family who reaches out.
Rather than stretching myself too thin or compromising the level of care I believe every birthing family deserves, I’ve chosen to grow with intention.
To increase our capacity while maintaining the heart, philosophy, and quality of care Intentional Childbirth is known for, I have brought on a trusted referral colleague. She works as an independent contractor and shares a deep alignment with our values around compassionate support, and intentional birth experiences.
When a family chooses to work with her through Intentional Childbirth, they are not just getting her one-on-one support, they are also welcomed fully into the Intentional Childbirth community. This includes access to all of our online resources, our lending library, and the ability to participate in the other classes and offerings that Intentional Childbirth provides.
This model allows me to honor my commitment to my own family, prevent burnout, and continue serving families well, while also expanding access to thoughtful, supportive birth care.

Ava Babinski serves mothers and families with compassion, tenderness, and wholehearted care. Her passion for birth work comes from a deep calling to walk alongside women during one of the most powerful and vulnerable seasons of their lives: bringing new life into the world. Through faith-centered support, Ava believes pregnancy and birth are sacred journeys where mothers deserve to feel supported, informed, and deeply cared for.
Her faith in Jesus shapes the way she serves families, guiding her to approach every birth with gentleness, encouragement, and a heart to uplift and strengthen the mothers she works with. Ava provides personalized support through prenatal preparation, continuous labor support, immediate postpartum care, sibling doula services, virtual prenatal support, and postpartum care.
She is passionate about creating a calm and nurturing environment where mothers feel confident in their bodies and empowered in their birth choices. Ava considers it a true honor to step into such meaningful moments with families and strives to ensure every mother she supports feels seen, heard, encouraged, and strengthened as she welcomes her baby into the world. Ava owns her own doula business Far Above Rubies Doula Services and also serves as a Referral Colleague at Intentional Childbirth.
